Christian Recovery

More Than Sobriety. A New Way to Live.

You can believe in God, know what needs to change, and still find yourself repeating the same patterns. I help people bring honesty, surrender, and biblical recovery principles into everyday life—one practical step at a time.

Beyond the Surface

Knowing Better Isn't the Same as Living Differently

Maybe the substance is gone, but the anger, control, resentment, or people-pleasing isn't. Maybe you keep promising yourself things will be different, only to find the same habits showing up in your relationships and faith.

Christian recovery makes room for an honest look at the whole heart. It's not about pretending to have everything together. It's about becoming willing to examine your part, ask for help, and practice a different way of life through Jesus Christ.

Rooted in Christ

What Recovery Asks of Us

Surrender, Not More Control

Recovery begins with admitting what we can't change on our own and turning toward Jesus Christ—not trying harder to manage everything around us.

Honesty That Goes Deeper

Biblical 12-step principles help us examine resentments, fear, pride, and the beliefs behind our behavior. We bring the truth into the light instead of defending old patterns.

Faith Put Into Practice

Prayer, accountability, boundaries, and making amends turn what we believe into how we live. Recovery is a daily practice, not simply another thing to understand.

About Josh Simcosky

I'm a recovered addict, recovery leader, coach, author, speaker, and host of the You Would Think podcast. Getting sober was only the beginning for me. I had to confront the patterns, beliefs, and relationships that continued to keep me stuck. Today, I use that experience to help others pursue honesty, surrender, responsibility, and lasting change.

On the podcast, I talk about recovery, relationships, faith, boundaries, and learning how to live differently.
