You Would Think

Invite Me to Speak

An honest story. Biblical truth. Practical recovery.

I speak openly about addiction, recovery, faith, relationships, personal responsibility, and what it actually takes to experience lasting change.

Whether I’m sharing my testimony or teaching practical principles of biblical recovery, my goal isn’t simply to inspire people for an hour. It’s to help people honestly examine what’s keeping them stuck and discover a new way forward.

A message about humility, teachability, self-examination, and our willingness to question the conclusions that may be keeping us stuck.

Life Doesn't Happen To You

A practical message about moving from a victim mindset toward responsibility, stewardship, acceptance, and intentional living.

Custom Message

I can also work with event organizers to develop a message around recovery, relationships, boundaries, codependency, personal responsibility, faith, or another topic that fits the event.

About Me

Portrait of Josh Simcosky

Recovery Coach • Author • Speaker • Podcast Host

I’m a recovered addict, recovery leader, life coach, author, speaker, and host of the You Would Think podcast.

After years of addiction and trying to change my circumstances instead of myself, I discovered that getting sober was only the beginning. Recovery required me to confront the patterns, beliefs, relationships, expectations, and behaviors that continued to keep me stuck.

Today, I use my story and what I’ve learned through biblical recovery to help others pursue honesty, surrender, responsibility, and lasting change.

My speaking style is conversational, vulnerable, practical, and rooted in my Christian faith.
