Uncovering Root Patterns
We'll identify the lies, resentments, and fears driving your behavior. Instead of only fighting the symptoms, we'll get honest about what's underneath them.

One-on-One Recovery Coaching
For men tired of knowing better while living the same way. Real honesty, biblical 12-step principles, and practical accountability to break cycles and build lasting freedom.
An honest conversation. A personal next step.
No More Going in Circles
You're caught in repetitive cycles—substances, pornography, anger, control, or people-pleasing—and you're tired of starting over.
You're sober, but you know sobriety isn't enough. Your heart, habits, and relationships still need recovery.
You want direct, no-BS guidance from someone who has been in the ditch and found the way out.
You're ready to stop blaming your circumstances and take personal ownership of what you can change.
Honesty Into Action
We'll identify the lies, resentments, and fears driving your behavior. Instead of only fighting the symptoms, we'll get honest about what's underneath them.
We'll put biblical recovery principles into practice through spiritual disciplines, surrender, honest self-examination, and making amends without causing further harm.
We'll confront codependency, people-pleasing, and passive-aggressive habits while building healthier boundaries and more honest relationships.
We'll set clear goals, agree on concrete next steps, and track measurable momentum. No hiding behind good intentions. We'll look at what you actually did.
One Step at a Time
Start with an honest conversation about where you are, what keeps repeating, and what you want to change. We'll look at whether coaching is the right fit for you.
Meet with me each week to work through patterns, apply biblical 12-step principles, and turn what you're learning into practical next steps.
Bring the work into everyday life. Follow through on your commitments, take an honest daily inventory, and bring your progress and setbacks into our work together.
Recovery coaching is not therapy, detoxification, or medical treatment, and it doesn't replace professional mental health care.
Testimonies
“Josh has a way of asking the right questions that helped me see things about myself I had never recognized before. He didn't try to fix me. He helped me understand what was holding me back and gave me practical tools to work through it myself. Through our work together, I've learned how to recognize old patterns, confront difficult emotions, and change course instead of letting them control me. I'm incredibly grateful for Josh's guidance and can honestly say my life has changed because of it.”
“Josh has walked alongside me through recovery, leaving a toxic relationship, and continues to guide me as I work through the 12 steps. His experience, honesty, faith, and willingness to challenge me have helped me gain clarity, take responsibility for my own growth, and continue moving forward in sobriety. His mentorship is helping me become a healthier man, father, and follower of Christ as I continue this journey of recovery and healing.”
“Josh was a shining light during one of the darkest seasons of my life. He had been where I was, and his wisdom, counsel, and willingness to walk alongside me gave me perspective I desperately needed. The guidance Josh gave me didn't just help me through that season—it changed the trajectory of my life in an incredibly positive way.”
About Me

Recovery Coach • Author
Speaker • Podcast Host
I'm a recovered addict, coach, author, speaker, host of the You Would Think podcast, and a leader with Free Indeed. I didn't create Free Indeed; I built a launch project to help churches get this recovery ministry off the ground.
After years of addiction and trying to change my circumstances instead of myself, I learned that getting sober was only the beginning. Recovery meant confronting the beliefs, habits, and relationships that continued to keep me stuck.
I bring that lived experience into our work together. I'll ask honest questions, challenge what isn't working, and help you put biblical recovery principles into practice—not just understand them.
Your Next Honest Step
You don't need to have it all figured out. You do need to be willing to get honest. If you're ready to do something different, let's start there.
